Married Couples Project

The thousands of same-sex couples living in California have a special—and unprecedented—role to play in the movement forward.

The Married Couples Project seeks to identify and organize the couples across the state who were married or are now denied the right to marry in California.

We will have real conversations with our families, our neighbors and our co-workers. We will tell our stories door-to-door, online and over the airwaves to expand support across the state.
