SB 1729 | LGBT Senior Care Training

Senate Bill 1729 would require licensed health professionals who have constant interaction with seniors in nursing homes and senior care facilities to receive training to better understand how to foster an environment that is free from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Status: Introduced on February 22, 2008.  Passed by the full legislature on August 15. Signed into law by Governor Schwarzengger on September 29.
