2008 Legislation

AB 3015 | Foster Youth School Safety Education

Assebmly Bill 3015 would require that existing training programs for foster youth, foster youth group homes, child welfare personnel, foster parents, and relative caregivers, include information on current school safety laws that protect students from bias-motivated harassment and discrimination.
 

Status: Introduced on February 22, 2008. Passed the Assembly by a 48-29 bipartisan vote. Passed Senate with a 21-15 vote. Signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger.
