Jennie Reiken
Jennie grew up in Shingle Springs and graduated from Sacramento State with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Women's Studies. She’s always had a passion for a good cause — and what better cause than equality? She is a strong believer in grassroots organizing and a member of Equality Action NOW. She feels the greatest change happens when people work together at the ground level.
Why she joined Team Win:
“I'm excited to provide a home in downtown Sacramento for the grassroots organizations that started after the passage of Prop 8. My goal is to provide a safe haven for us to collaborate in. Words cannot describe how passionate I am about this cause. I'm looking forward to making an impact and working with my fellow activists to promote change!”
