Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes PreventionBill Number: HR 16 This resolution would put the California Assembly on record in support of the federal Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which would expand the authority and capacity of the United States Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute bias-motivated violence.
