SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Equality California, the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, today announced the endorsements of four candidates running for national and state offices ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
“This November’s midterm election provides us the strongest chance yet to rebuke the Trump administration’s aggressively anti-LGBTQ+ agenda,” said Executive Director Tony Hoang. “Taking back Congress is of the utmost importance; at the same time, we must also continue to send LGBTQ+ candidates and allies to Sacramento to keep up the fight for full, lived equality here in our state. LGBTQ+ Californians deserve representatives at all levels of government who will fight for their needs, and our growing slate of pro-equality candidates will do just that.”
